Inktober Drawings 2015 (Part 2)

Today at Don’t Pick the Flowers Blog I’m posting the last of my Inktober drawings from 2015. Just in case you missed it, Inktober is a challenge to sketch one drawing a day using ink. You can use nibs, micron pens or whatever type of ink tool you want to use. You can read all about it at Jake Parker’s website (the originator of Inktober), and challenge yourself to draw every day. I will admit, it was a challenge to draw and share every day, and some of my drawing are better than others. I’ll give a brief description in case you missed my personal drawings.

Top Left: The Goblin King from The Hobbit Film by Peter Jackson. Top Right: A sketchy owl and bat. Bottom Left: As a child I was obsessed with Star Wars. Everyone is getting excited by the new Star Wars Film, so I decided to draw Snaggletooth (the first action figure my mom bought me). Bottom Right: Suzanne dances with the other Goblin King, Jareth. David Bowie from the film Labyrinth.

Top Right: The Pumpkin man takes a nap. This is my original idea, and I am kind of fond of this one. Top Left: Another original idea . . . the excitement of reading. Bottom Left: Suzanne meets Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. Bottom Right: Suzanne as Morticia Addams with Gomez Addams.

Top Left: I have drawn a lot of Vincent Price sketches, here he is with Suzanne. Top Right: It looks like “Duck” is making a stew. Bottom Left: Suzanne walks . . . a creature. Bottom Right: This is one of my favorites, it’s Suzanne Bat.

And that concludes all the drawing from Inktober 2015. It really did enjoy the challenge . . . until next year, keep on drawing!
