When I was a kid we had a nature encyclopedia which I could spend hours looking at. But there was one huge picture of the Red Eyed Tree frog which terrified me. I can appreciate Vincent’s fear in today’s “Colorful Frog” comic.

It’s difficult to know which was most scary, the red eyes or the bright colors. Personally, it’s the huge warts that scare me the most.

A lot of those colorful frogs are poisonous.
