Middle School Talk

20151110_113045It’s time for another blog post, and this week I would like to share some photos from my time at Livingston County Middle School. I was asked to talk about comics and art by Jennifer Bowles the Art Teacher at Livingston County Schools, the school I went to. Things have changed a bit since I attended, but I found the students to be very receptive to my “lecture” and I can’t say how much I enjoyed spending time talking with Ms Bowles.

Middle School is a very difficult age, at least it was for me. It’s that time you are trying to figure out who you are, from child to teenager. I can’t say I had a pleasant experience in Middle School, I can honestly say I hated it. But I wanted to encourage the kids to keep drawing and the world was at their finger tips with technology and art. And I do hope I at least touched on kids life, especially that kid out there who feels different and wants to become involved with the arts.
